The impetus behind Meg Stuart’s creations can be found in the American choreographer’s burning curiosity time and again to create a dance that is inspired by the presence of the other. What is invented and improvised, what is ignited when several presences discover each other and share the space together? What rules are created, what energies burst into the movement? This time it is a trio that puts these questions into practice.
Here it will involve observing how a shared choreography takes shape from the practices and singular experiences of each one of the performers. Constructing and deconstructing, being surprised by and surprising the other, being immersed outside of the familiar are all possible trajectories guiding the outline of this new creation.
