This workshop proposes a physical and musical approach to movement, rooted in the deconstruction of techniques informed by Fouad’s background in urban dance—particularly Breaking—combined with his choreographic research and performance experience.

The focus lies on how these tools are embodied, transformed, and reinterpreted by each participant, while also reflecting on their origins, contexts, and underlying principles. Throughout the workshop, participants will engage with phrases, concepts, drills, and games adapted to different levels. The work unfolds progressively, allowing time for integration through guided improvisation. Hip-hop music is used as a structural framework, shaping timing, energy, composition, and group choreographic scores.

Participants are invited to explore performance through shifting sound environments, discovering new relationships between movement, sound, space, and composition.
