For Mercedes Dassy, her three seasons as an associate artist with Charleroi danse have been a time of creation (Sponge Babe in L.A. (4 Love & Anxiety)), experimentation (project with teenagers – Retour vers le turfu: Episode 1), and research carried out as she sees fit. “A bright moment” that she has chosen to ultimately share with ten or so young artists encountered over the past few years. With no predefined theme, but rather a primary objective: “a great evening of celebration, to share with others the benefits I’ve received, which have been so useful for me”. And a plan for the space to be occupied by diverse forms: an existing work, an installation, a work-in-progress, creations in situ, in performance, dance, plastic arts, slam poetry.
From the ground floor to the bar and the Cube, from 6pm to midnight, the whole of La Raffinerie will vibrate with this event, rich in sensations and meanings: “the start of a season in which I’m no longer an associate, the end of a cycle for me, the beginning of other things”.

Des ambiances musicales et DJ sets sont aussi prévus tout au long de la saison, pour prolonger la soirée au bar, sur le dancefloor ou sur notre terrasse. D’autres soirées s’ajouteront au calendrier durant les temps forts (En Vogue, Legs, Bodjî).
