This workshop explores how simple, everyday gestures can be transformed into material for contemporary choreography. Starting from ordinary actions—walking, carrying, waiting, observing, greeting, pushing away, calling out—participants will investigate how the body can divert, amplify, or deconstruct these movements in order to create a distinctive choreographic language.

Over the course of five days, the work will alternate between improvisation, instant composition, rhythmic exploration, repetition, and the development of stage presence. Particular attention will be given to the intention behind each gesture, its emotional origin, and the ways in which an ordinary movement can become a vehicle for narrative, tension, or poetry.

Drawing inspiration from the invisible rituals of everyday life and the memories carried within our bodies, this workshop invites participants to cultivate a sensitive and embodied approach to movement, navigating between personal expression and collective dynamics.
