Amadou Lamine Sow, better known as Pi Wos, is a Senegalese-born dancer and choreographer who graduated from Alvin Ailey of Senegal, which today bears the name of the Moustapha Gueye Academy, and is the founder of the Piamaart Company.

His approach and work are based on the research of movement and the feeling associated with traditional African dance.

This contemporary dance workshop is a profound exploration of traditional movements, combining listening to the body and ancestral rhythms to create an immersive and connected experience.

It is through this journey that bodies will learn to feel and interpret traditional movements towards contemporary dance. All this while connecting with the space and the natural rhythms of their own bodies to create harmony between music and dance. The workshop aims to highlight the fusion of traditional techniques and contemporary creativity.
