Pièce pour 50 citoyen·ne·s, 9 danseur·euse·s et un orchestre populaire

Few Days Before Tomorrow will see the light of day in autumn 2025, as a part of MolenFest and the culmination of a participatory process begun at the start of the year. In collaboration with associations from the world of art and civil society, and with the people of Molenbeek, encounters, workshops and rehearsals are all working towards the creation of group choreographies. Their backdrop is the artist’s social commitment and profoundly humanistic approach, and on the horizon are various visions of the city, the energies circulating within it, and the dreams of a future it contains.

Serge Aimé Coulibaly has already led similar projects in Ostend, Tunis and Ouagadougou. The adventure in Brussels and Molenbeek will involve 50 participants, 9 dancers from the Faso Danse Théâtre and a people's orchestra. An “awesome presence in the city’s common space”, the scene of aerated questions of territory, belonging, congregation, generations, communities, balances of power and legitimacy.
