Pièce pour 6 danseur·euse·s et 1 compositeur live-act et 100 complices

Driven by a desire to share, choreographer Eric Minh Cuong Castaing invites us to a celebration under the guidance of artists from the Palestinian, Lebanese, and Egyptian diaspora. With his company Shonen, the choreographer has since 2007 set in motion diverse bodies, professionals or otherwise, some of whom have disabilities.

For Tarab, he has invited the musician Rayess Bek and six dancers from the Palestinian, Lebanese and Egyptian diaspora to commandeer the concept of the work Sous Influence. Created in 2017, this work presented a techno marathon of several hours, with amateurs on stage alongside professionals, guided by choreographic procedures. The dabke, a folk dance from the Levant region, will be showcased in a real-time transmission process, to celebrate collective vitality.
