Through the use of listening, storytelling, breathwork, energy and musicality, the workshop seeks to achieve letting-go and self-presence. Nina Santes will share several tools and practices from her choreographic language, intermingling dance, singing and speech. By means of group games involving rhythm, multitasking or dissociation – but above all fun – the way in which the voice may form a part of movement will be explored. Instilled with her current research relating to imagination and water, and more specifically to Virginia Woolf’s declaration that “ there are tides in the body ”, the workshop will invite the participants to burst out of themselves and of the strictures imposed on them
