At the crossroads of choreography and visual arts, Monia Montali and François Bodeux open a new cycle of performances and installations focusing on the invisible.
In this first phase, the choreographic material draws its inspiration from the movements and postures present in the iconographies of the earliest civilisations, in which representation for the most part sought to convey the intimate connection between the human and the invisible. Here it traces the contours of a new ritual, between a prayer and a war dance, between contemplation and resistance.
Constructed around a cyclical structure, in which the performers, sound artists and lighting designers interact in real time, the performance constantly oscillates between control and fortuity. This environment steadily challenges our perceptions, altering our relationship with time and opening up our gaze to another visibility.
